The Akshay Kumar – Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Good Newwz released a while back, and since then there has been no stopping the film at the box office. After receiving positive reviews from the critics and an open armed welcome from the audience the business of Good Newwz grew by leaps and bounds.

In this box office report we take a look at the second Sunday collections of Good Newwz while comparing the same to previous releases of 2019. Collecting Rs. 14.40 cr on its second Sunday running Good Newwz has managed to beat the business of the Hrithik Roshan – Tiger Shroff starrer War that had collected Rs. 13.90 cr, Housefull 4 that had collected Rs. 12.60 cr, and Super 30 that had collected Rs. 11.68 cr on their respective second Sundays. However, despite the buzz surrounding Good Newwz the second Sunday collections do not surpass previous releases like Kabir Singh that collected Rs. 17.84 cr, Uri – The Surgical Strike that collected Rs. 17.17 cr, and Mission Mangal that collected Rs. 15.30 cr. As it stands, Good Newwz currently ranks as the fourth highest second Sunday grosser of 2019.

If that wasn’t enough, with the film continuing to hold strong despite new releases hitting screens, expectations are that the business of Good Newwz will see further growth over its second week.
