Amal Sehrawat of Choti Sarrdaarni fame has recently lost his father to COVID-19. The actor has been going through a difficult time for the past month and is still coping with the loss. He recently opened up about the tragic incident to a leading daily. He says that his father was asymptomatic but they took him to the hospital for some other problem. He was tested for COVID there and the results came back positive. After that, he only got to meet him for a little while since he was in the ICU and then succumbed to a cardiac arrest a month ago.

Unfortunately, his mother also contracted the virus but has recovered from the same now. Amal said that this virus is unpredictable since his father lost his life while his mother who is a diabetic is perfectly healthy after recovering from it. He also thanked his wife for single-handedly taking care of their son while she was grieving too. Amal expressed immense gratitude towards the cast and crew of Choti Sarrdaarni for being there with him during the tough times.

Speaking of his mother, Amal confirmed that she is doing well now and that his father was right to call her the ‘Iron Lady’ of the house.
