Executive VP of Balaji Telefilms, Tanusri Dasgupta, hospitalized after testing positive for Coronavirus

Tanusri Dasgupta, the Executive Vice President of Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, has tested positive for Coronavirus and is hospitalized since July 4 after she required oxygen support. Currently admitted to Seven Hills Hospital, Tanusri Dasgupta was earlier quarantining at home. Her mother has tested positive, too, but since she had mild symptoms, she has been advised to be at home. Tanusri Dasgupta spoke to another portal about her current condition.

She says that she was brought to the hospital last Saturday and when the doctor performed a blood test, they advised her to get admitted since she was low on oxygen. Her mother was also tested positive but she’s on her way to recovery and is quarantining at home. Tanusri says she still has a cough due to bronchitis and is being treated for the same. She was initially a little scared but says that if you’re in good hands, there’s nothing to worry about.

Parth Samthaan, the male protagonist of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 has also tested positive for Coronavirus and the shoot for the show has been put on a halt.
