Aamir Khan is currently in Turkey for the Laal Singh Chaddha shoot. The actor met Turkish first lady Emine Erdogan on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at the Huber Mansion in Istanbul.
Sharing their images, Emine tweeted, "I had the great pleasure of meeting @aamir_khan, the world-renowned Indian actor, filmmaker, and director, in Istanbul. I was happy to learn that Aamir decided to wrap up the shooting of his latest movie ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ in different parts of Turkey. I look forward to it!"

Besides the film, they reportedly discussed everything from handicrafts to food culture and family, etc.
Aamir Khan recently resumed shooting of Laal Singh Chaddha that had been stalled since March 2020. The film, that stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, is being directed by Advait Chandan. It has been postponed until Christmas 2021.
