Akshay Kumar along with Jackky and Puja Bhagnani give the mahurat clap for Bellbottom

The global pandemic put the world to a halt and movie shoots were also paused. Akshay Kumar along with Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Lara Dutta, Jackky Bhagnani, Puja Bhagnani, and the rest of the team of Bellbottom are starting the shooting for the film.

Akshay Kumar shared a small video of himself saying, “Lights, camera, mask on, action. Following all the new norms and filming on for #BellBottom! It’s a difficult time but work has to go on. Need your love and luck ????????.”

The team had flown to the UK earlier this month with all safety measures and precautions followed. Director Ranjit M Tewari along with producers Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh were present at the mahurat clap. The principal shooting of the film began yesterday in the UK.

The much-awaited Bellbottom is set to release on 2nd April 2021.
