Taapsee Pannu and Urmila Matondkar react to Kangana Ranaut’s 'POK' barb at Mumbai

There is widespread disbelief and disgust at Kangana Ranaut’s comparing of Mumbai as Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).

Actress Urmila Matondkar, a trueblue Maharashtrian, who never reacts to controversial issues, says, “Maharashtra is the cultural land and intellectual face of India, the land of Great Shivaji Maharaj. Mumbai has fed millions of Indians and given them name fame and glory. Only the ungrateful can compare it with POK. I am shocked and disgusted. It’s a disgraceful comment to say the least.”

Taapsee Pannu is even more openly appalled.  “Whatever she (Kangana) says stopped making sense to me long back. So now whatever she says is as irrelevant to me as humanly possible.”

Surprisingly these two honest outspoken ladies from Bollywood were the only ones to reply to my request for a reaction to Kangana’s ‘POK’ comment.
