Amazon Prime Video today announced their upcoming political drama Tandav, created and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Making his foray into the digital streaming world, the creator is all set to share the exciting first look of the Amazon Original’s fantastic ensemble cast.
The first look of Saif Ali Khan was unveiled in which he was wearing a shirt, vest and raises his hand in what looks like a rally scenario. "Get ready, we are about to enter Tandav mode," the caption read.

Saif Ali Khan will be starring as a politician who aspires to become a Prime Minister. “It is a show based on politics and is set on a massive scale. I don’t want to use American examples, but it’s along the lines of House Of Cards, although set within the framework of Indian politics. The plot takes into account various factions like Dalit politics and UP cops and the whole nexus between them,” he earlier said.
Saif further said, “My character is Chanakya-like, in the guise of a youth leader who comes from a privileged background and aspires to become the Prime Minister.”
The political drama will see Purab Kohli, Kritika Kamra, Sunil Grover, Dimple Kapadia, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Amyra Dastur in critical roles. It will be a ten-episode series.
