Mumbai Police honours Rohit Shetty for helping COVID-19 frontline workers, calls him 'The Asli Dilwale'

Many had stepped up in the battle against COVID-19. As the frontline workers worked non-stop amid the pandemic, filmmaker Rohit Shetty took care of the workers by providing financial aid. He went extra mile to arrange 8 hotels across the city to accomodate on-duty policemen and women and arranged refreshments and amenities.
Mumbai Police expressed appreciation towards the filmmaker and honoured him on Thursday. "The Asli Dilwale!From booking a hotel for accommodating police #frontlinewarriors on duty to managing medical expenses of many, the magnanimity of #RohitShetty has been commendable. @CPMumbaiPolice presented a token of gratitude & appreciation to Mr. Shetty," the official tweet read.

On the work front, Rohit Shetty is awaiting the release of Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. He recently kicked off the shooting of Cirkus with Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Sharma.
