Neetu Kapoor, who had recently begun shooting for Jug Jugg Jeeyo, had tested positive for COVID-19. In a week’s time, her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni took to her Instagram to announce that her mother had tested negative leaving the Kapoors elated. Along with Neetu Kapoor, her co-star Varun Dhawan and director Raj Mehta had also tested positive and the shoot came to an abrupt halt. As per the latest reports, Neetu Kapoor will resume shooting for Jug Jugg Jeeyo on December 19 and is set to fly to Chandigarh for the same.
In a recent video that shows Neetu Kapoor getting her COVID-19 tests done, the netizens do not look impressed with how they were performed. As per the norm, the swab tests are supposed to be done with extreme efficiency to get the results right. The rules state that the swabs should enter up to four inches in the nose and mouth to get the apt result. In the video, Neetu Kapoor is seen getting tested but the swab barely enters her mouth and nose, leaving people unimpressed.
